Monday – Friday (40 hours per week)
Position Summary:
Join our seasoned mortgage lending team and help support a growing organization! This position provides support to the Mortgage department and assists in completing mortgage files. Position ensures that our loan files are accurate and funds loans with all Investors and/or Guarantors.
Skills and Expectations:
• Requires accuracy and effective time management skills.
• Responsible for knowing what paperwork should be in the loan files and ensuring files are accurate.
• Assist loan staff in completing files in a timely manner.
• Complete file reviews and ensure initial insurance is provided in each file.
• Monitor loan lock expirations and extensions on loans locked with investors.
• Fund loans with investors, complete necessary GL adjustments, and mail necessary documents.
• Satisfy mortgages. Complete and file paid loans.
• Process lien searches, monitor pending titles, and ensure Dakotaland has proper lien position.
• Monitoring and following up on post-closing repairs on subject to properties.
• Scan in closing documents and work with Loan Servicing as needed.
• Travel to local branch and courthouse as needed.
• Understand and comply with all federal, state, local and Credit Union regulations that affect your area of expertise.
• Maintain utmost level of professionalism and confidentiality in the process of capturing credit information from each member.
• Conduct business in a timely, ethical, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
• Be able to work with a variety of people in a kind, respectful, and professional manner.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Physical Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to occasionally lift/transport up to 10 pounds at a time. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Environment is primarily indoor.
