Job Summary:
The Senior Vice President of Marketing will provide strategic leadership for Dakotaland FCU’s marketing, brand, communications, and growth. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that will drive membership growth, deepen the member relationship, strengthen brand presence and support Dakotaland’s overall strategic objectives. This leader will also be responsible for overseeing and developing the marketing team while ensuring consistent brand representation and voice across all marketing channels.
Expectations:
1. Develop an innovative marketing strategy that aligns with the direction of the credit union.
2. Lead brand positioning in a competitive banking marketplace.
3. Oversee the overall member experience and look for enhancements.
4. Research and stay current on trends in consumer, mortgage and business lending marketing strategies.
5. Stay current on marketing compliance and regulations.
6. Be able to effectively collaborate with all departments of the credit union.
7. Manage the marketing budget and vendor relationships.
8. Report KPI’s and other performance metrics to the executive leadership team.
9. Responsible for leading and developing the marketing team.

Physical Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to occasionally lift/transport up to 25 pounds at a time. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Environment is primarily indoor. May be required to help with Credit Union events in uncontrolled weather conditions including but not limited to high temps, low temps, wind, rain, snow and ice.
