Huron Area Arts Council

The Huron Area Arts Council (HAAC), a non-profit educational organization, serves to promote and encourage the development, appreciation, enjoyment and performance of the arts in the Heartland Region. Under an agreement with the City of Huron and the Huron Community Campus, the HAAC has refurbished the Fine Arts Center Theater with new curtains, lighting and sound systems. Local, state and national artists performing at Huron?s Fine Arts Center represent music performances, dancing, painting, sculpture, photography exhibitions, theatrical productions, summer arts camps and other visual arts and activities. The HAAC also sponsors the annual Christmas Tree Festival at the Huron Event Center and the monthly Cultural Arts Calendar published the last Sunday of the month in the Huron Plainsman. Meetings are conducted the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center, 939 Ohio Ave SW.
